In Loving Memory of Diana – Help Us Seek Justice and Healing

On April 1st, a tragedy occurred that no one should ever have to endure. Our beloved Diana, a gentle and loving woman with a mental disability, was viciously attacked by another patient while in the care of a facility meant to protect her.

During what should have been a simple group outing, Diana was brutally assaulted by another resident with a known history of violent behavior. Despite the presence of staff, the attack was not stopped in time. Diana suffered catastrophic injuries.

She was rushed to the hospital and was placed on life support, but her injuries were too severe. Diana tragically passed away.

Our hearts are shattered. This should never have happened.

We are raising funds to help with funeral and memorial costs, to support us as we fight for answers, accountability, and justice for Diana. No one should lose someone they love this way especially when it could have been prevented.

Diana was kind, trusting, and full of love. She deserved safety, respect, and care. Now her voice has been taken from us, and we are determined to be her voice moving forward.
