Hello friends and family. First of all, I would like to say thank you for all of your calls, texts, prayers, and well wishes that you have sent to me over the past few weeks. I would also like to say thank you to those of you who took time to visit, purchased dinner, and other gifts. Your words and time have definitely meant a lot to me and my family.

So, up to date, I have had 5 procedures on my lower back, which included being put under anesthesia for all of them. It was originally diagnosed as Sciatica, but after orthopedic referrals, x-rays, and MRIs, they showed it was more serious and needed to be treated with injections and abrasions. On September 2nd, I underwent a complete metal hip replacement on my right side. I am currently going through rehab for that surgery, and once it is completed, I will have my left hip replaced. There is going to be a long road to recovery.

Now, as you all know, anything that has to do with healthcare is extremely expensive. I have been out of work since the end of July on FMLA. I do have medical insurance, but with all of the doctor's visits, medications, hospital fees, rehab, and surgeries, it has taken its toll on finances for my household. Some of you have asked if there is anything

you can do to help out, and initially I let my pride get in the way and said no. The answer is yes and I do need help.
