Hi, my name is Kenya Dennis and I am raising money for my mom Brenda Washington. Mom is a recent retiree of December 2022 and on a fixed income. In the early morning of January 11, 2023- she lost everything due to a house fire and barely made it out. We are thanking God for her safety.

A mere week post the holiday season, everything that was in her home including her car which was parked close by was burned. Nothing was salvageable and is considered a total loss. We are in dire straits and in desperate need of our community's support. Supporting her 4 grandchildren and her community has been a joy and something my mom has always loved doing. Facing a challenging time of rebuilding while still supporting her community and family, she could use our help. We are also asking for prayers, and for you to please share this with your connections- you never know who will be able to help and support. My mom is insured, but given the gravity of losing everything, she is underinsured without enough financial support to fully rebuild her home, purchase a new car, and put clothes on her back.
