Hello my Facebook friends, family, and even strangers. Never in a million years did I think I would come to this platform to tell you my story. But here I am. As some of you guys know me, I'm the bubbly person, the life of the party, the hard worker in cellphones or with kids. But in 2017, I got diagnosed with epilepsy. Epilepsy changed my life. I couldn’t drive, I couldn’t work where I wanted to. Life changed for me. I tried to live life like a regular person until I woke up in a hospital bed over and over again and didn’t know how I got there. With bruises and a bitten tongue from lots of seizures, not absent seizures, but seizures where I would go unconscious and jerk for 5 minutes or longer. It happened at work, it happened around friends and family to the point they didn’t trust leaving me alone.

It's 2026, and from Sunday until Thursday of this week, I was in the hospital because I had 4 seizures in one day and lost oxygen to the point I was losing my life. I don’t have medical insurance because I need to work to catch up on all my bills since I’m more in the hospital than at any job. My medication that I need to live on costs about $2140.
