Olá, o meu nome é Pedro Cardoso. Fui diagnosticado com um cancro agressivo (cabeça e pescoço) em 2010, com 34 anos. Fiz radioterapia, quimioterapia e mais de 10 cirurgias.

Ao longo dos últimos 14 anos, lutei arduamente para recuperar a saúde e a qualidade de vida.

O desporto, especialmente o triatlo, foi o meu maior aliado nesta batalha desigual!

A minha vontade de viver nunca me deixou desistir.

Sempre acreditei que era possível alcançar coisas incríveis, mesmo com muitos desafios.

Sempre acreditei na minha recuperação. Sempre acreditei que iria conseguir vencer!

Uma amizade, a minha paixão pelo triatlo e a causa do cancro levaram-me a aceitar o desafio de fazer um triatlo Ironman.

Depois de um ano de preparação, com muitos altos e baixos, concretizei o sonho de completar um full Ironman em Cascais (outubro de 2023).

Em outubro de 2024, completei o half Ironman, também em Cascais, e voltei a sentir a magia de cruzar o tapete vermelho na meta!

Tenho procurado passar a mensagem de que "tudo é possível" e de que nunca devemos desistir!

Quero continuar a cruzar muitas metas, a participar em provas e a desfrutar de momentos inesquecíveis com amigos. Quero continuar a praticar desporto ao longo da minha vida!

Seria incrível fazer tudo isto com uma nova bicicleta de triatlo contrarrelógio. A BIANCHI AQUILA RC é a minha bicicleta de sonho!). Se não conseguir, em alternativa, uma Canyon ou outra marca. A nova bicicleta ia-me permitir tirar ainda mais partido destes momentos. Para mim, seria um símbolo de que vale a pena lutar e de que os sonhos podem mesmo tornar-se realidade! Quero ir mais longe e mais rápido!

A meta total da campanha é de €8000. A 1ª fase tem como meta €2000. As grandes conquistas são feitas degrau a degrau!

Com uma bicicleta, podemos ir longe — seja com amigos ou sozinho. Sofremos nas subidas, aproveitamos a energia positiva nas descidas e somos livres para escolher o nosso caminho. Tudo se torna mais fácil e mais bonito quando estamos ligados à vida em movimento.

Hello, my name is Pedro Cardoso. I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer (head and neck) in 2010 at the age of 34. I underwent radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and more than 10 surgeries.

Over the past 14 years, I have fought hard to regain my health and quality of life.

Sport, especially triathlon, has been my greatest ally in this uneven battle!

My will to live kept me from giving up.

I always believed it was possible to achieve amazing things, even with many challenges.

I always believed in my recovery. I always believed I would succeed!

A friendship, my passion for triathlon, and the cause of cancer led me to take on the challenge of doing an Ironman triathlon.

After one year of preparation, with many ups and downs, I fulfilled my dream of completing a full Ironman in Cascais (October 2023).

In October 2024, I completed the half Ironman, also in Cascais, and once again felt the magic of crossing the red carpet at the finish line!

I have been trying to spread the message that "anything is possible" and that we should never give up!

I want to keep crossing many finish lines, participating in races, and enjoying great moments with friends. I want to continue practicing sports throughout my life!

It would be amazing to do all of this with a new triathlon time trial bike (BIANCHI AQUILA RC - it's my dream bike). If I can't get it, alternatively, a Canyon or another brand. The new bike would allow me to enjoy these moments even more. It would be a symbol that it’s worth fighting for and that dreams can come true! I want to go further and faster!

The total goal of the campaign is €8,000. The 1st step has a target of €2,000. Great achievements are made step by step!

With a bike, we can go far—whether with friends or alone. We suffer on the climbs, enjoy the positive energy on the descents, and are free to choose our path. Everything becomes easier and more beautiful when we’re connected to life in motion.
