Hello family and friends. This fundraiser is for my uncle Carlos "Pipiolo" Pinero. He has lived with diabetes type 1 since he was 16 years old. Not an easy road to be in. He is an amazing father, husband, uncle, cousin and friend. He has a great soul and helps anyone in need with no expectations in return.

He has been battling this disease and taking care of it as much as he possibly can, but as you all know at some point it will take a toll on you. Which unfortunately has been affecting more the last few years. But regardless, he always got up with a positive attitude and went to work to provide for his family. A true workaholic and independent strong man.

Last February 2023, he got an infection on his toe, he went to doctors who gave him antibiotics to try to solve the problem. It did for a week or so. He ended up going back and this time he needed surgery, got his toe amputated. Came out of the hospital and still tried to go back to work. That didn't last long. He's been out of work for over a month, and all the bills are piling up. He needs our help y'all. His wife Jessica has been doing as much as she can, taking care of him and working. But it's not enough. We all know that. Today they need all of our help, tomorrow may be one of us. And I'm sure he will be there just like y'all are now. Any donations count no matter the amount.
