Help my dad fight pancreatic cancer
Donation protected
Hi, this feels so strange to make and talk about but here it goes.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer Saturday Aug. 23 2025. There were no signs what so ever. He had went to the clinic Sunday Aug. 17 due to him feeling ill. The following day, the clinic called him stating his results were not good and that he had to go to the ER because his liver isn’t doing to well. He went and got admitted just to monitor him. Once they did all the exams that week, the doctor told us such devastating news. It broke everyone’s heart to hear such words come out. They gave him 3 options. First one, chemotherapy..where it can give him possibly 3 years to live (difficult path). The 2nd option was what they call “quality of life” with the life span of 6 months along with medication. Last option, pain medication and nothing else, just live what he can.
My dad did not want to try chemotherapy because he knew the cons. A week went by and he was able to give his final decision. He said yes to chemotherapy. We were all very proud of him. He is a true fighter!!
Unfortunately his liver enzymes aren’t stable enough for him to even get a port started. They are still monitoring his liver so they can start treatment soon. I’m hoping for the best these next 2 days. I don’t like seeing him like this…
Right now, he has no idea I’m doing this. He would probably tell me to delete it immediately. I’m not asking for much but just enough to help him with medical bills that I’m sure will pile up (he has no insurance, yet) and also monthly bills.
Most of you know my dad is a very religious man. A kind man and the best dad, husband, friend, brother and so on. He isn’t scared but I know deep down he wants to continue living. We pray everyday for him. I know he has more to do on earth. YOU GOT THIS PAPI.
