Hi everybody I am doing a go fund me on behalf of Rod sedman.(big Rod with the flat cap) Rod tragically lost Lyn his partner of 33 years on the 21st of January this year when she was tragically killed by a Lorry in the town. those of you who know him will know he is a very proud person ,he was a fisherman for more than 50 years he spent many years on the barrentzea bm361 and the Magdalena lots of you will know him from wearing his flat cap and his Love of horse racing, and like lots of retired fishermen he is now on a minimal pension, I am trying to raise funds to help cover everyday living expenses such as rental top ups shopping etc even if he fancied a day out. These are all things which he relied on Lyn for. she would do everything for him from topping up electric to cooking and getting his medication as he now has severe COPD. please be aware that this is NOT to cover any funeral expenses, it is purely for Rod going forward. I know personally there are lots of people especially those who are in the fishing industry ( he's probably bought alll of you a good few pints over the years as he was always very generous)who will and would like to help him and we all know Mary(his daughter )has done so much to help others in this town, whenever there has been a crisis she has always been the first to help .Now it's our turn to help someone that means a lot to her, her dad. every penny raised will go directly to Rod.
