Thea’s medication (hydrocephalus)

Hi, my name is Kristine Melody, and I am fundraising for my niece Althea Adrianne Rose Estoque who lives in Purok 4, Camayaan Loboc Bohol.The daughter of Fhelbert Estoque and Vanessa Jane Odal Estoque. She is 5 years old, turning six this 22nd of October. Last month June 28, she was diagnosed with a 'suspected' brain tumour and hydrocephalus. So suspected since the doctor cannot identify the mass because of her hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a build-up of fluid in the brain. So they needed to drain the excess fluid from my niece's brain, and she had the VP Shunting. I can say that the operation went well because my niece started to get well again. But she had to stay longer in the hospital to finish her antibiotics which were injected through an IV. She would often vomit after two weeks of her operation, but her doctor said it was normal since she had just had surgery, so a little shake of her head would cause her to vomit. On August 1, 2022, she was released from the hospital and had to continue medication at home. Then she started to have the symptoms she had first before her surgery. Her follow-up check-up with her neurologist is today, August 05, 2022. He requested an asap MRI to see what was happening inside her body.

We humbly ask for any amount to help my niece with her medication. But, unfortunately, the doctor said there would be a possibility of another operation for the little girl. She just had an operation, and here is another challenge for her and the rest of the family to face. So, we are asking everyone to please include my niece in your prayers.
