My dad's life has been flipped upside down within a matter of days. Coming from a healthy lifestyle, being active, eating well, no drinking, and no smoking, he caught a really bad infection that started to attack his heart. So far there has been no cause or diagnosis of his state and he's literally fighting for his life.
It all started with just a cold/fever and in a mater of days he's in the hospital on supportive care. The viral infection is only allowing his heart to pump at 20% and he has to be on a breathing tube because he's unable to catch his breath. The next day a procedure was done to help his heart pump blood which helped for a short amount of time but then it caused for his kidneys to fail. So now, he's off the machine and now having to do dialysis because of his kidney failure. Two days later I call to get an update on my dad and to find out he suffered from a stroke to the brain paralyzing the left side of the body. Within a matter of days my mom and I have been on this roller coaster where my dad has been put through so much in a short amount of time. We still don't have answers only knowing that he's just on supportive care.
We are still praying for the best to come forward and hoping for a full recovery. I thank everyone for all the prayers and support! Any donation will help and is greatly appreciated as my family and I are getting through this hard time. Much is appreciated.
