Hi, my name is Taiga Sato, I am from Tokyo, Japan. Anu is from Maui, Hawaii, and is one of my best friends. During this summer, Anu and his family were impacted by the Maui fires and lost everything. I met Anu playing baseball in Oregon. He is one of my closest friends. During the winter of 2021, I was not able to fly back to Japan. Thankfully, Anu and his family housed me, cooked for me, and took care of me during this time and asked for nothing in return.
