Free Jaymack

This gofund me was created to help the family of Jay McGiboney....in 2014 he was involved in an incident in where he was a bail bondsman and was apprehending a man who had an outstanding bond. when he took him into custody there was a scuffle and the man went for jays gun and jay had to defend himself and the man was shot. After the incident the man recieved medical care and was release with no kind of major injury sustained from the event...after draining most of his life savings paying for an attorney he had already been struggling to keep his business afloat as long as he could for a few months after but ended up having to sell it. Taking what money he had left he started a new path cutting vinyl stickers and doing side jobs to make ends meet...his wife works too but even with them both they had a really hard time keeping ends met...and now that the jury has decided he was guilty of defending himself..his future is uncertain and is at the mercy of the courts...all while his wife and 2 very young daughters lives are impacted as well at home..all of us friends and family have come together and we are trying to help as much as we can...but i have created this to help us help them...i put up the amount as $2500 for rent and daycare,food and other little things to help them in the coming months until we can help get jays business back up and running so that her income will take care of the daily expenses...we will start selling shirts and stickers as well...but she needs all the help anyone can give...

furthermore i feel like i need to clear the air just a little here...i know the media has skewed the potrayal of Jaymack into a pretty dark corner saying some pretty awful things ...skewing the story to make it look like he intended to kill that guy...when it cant be further from the truth...if you truly knew jay you would know he aint that kind of man...and he would have showed you the video of the incident in a heartbeat...he had nothing to gain from what happened and two lives was destroyed that night...when the sentencing is done the video will be released proving this..(they cant release it yet until thats over)..i know a lot of people have rallied behind him...but please i beg of you..when you hear someone say negative about it...just tell them theres more to it and he is a good man...theres so much more to this and i know hindsight is 20/20...and things would have went so differently if they could have been changed...but he aint the man they are makin him out to be....his family needs us and needs the support now more than ever...please show them love and kindness by helping keep the veil of darkness off of their lives....we are hoping things will work out at sentencing and they go light considering certain circumstances...but prayers and positive thoughts are always needed.... jay is having a hard time adjusting in there...and jenny as well at home...ive been humbled by the waves of profile pics changed and support thats been given so far...please help keep that alive and help them get their lives back when he gets out..and while he is in......thanks everyone ‪#‎1andaHalfThumbsup‬ ‪#‎freejaymack‬
