Beloved Aunt Fighting Liver Cancer
Donation protected
What would you do if you had cancer, and were too ill a great deal of the time to work so that you had enough money to survive? let alone pay for treatments and prescriptions?
When was the last time you were elated to feel strong enough to make it through an 8 hour work day so that you could continue to buy groceries and pay for health insurance?
My aunt Kathleen is living alone in Texas and fighting advanced Liver Cancer. That is just what she is doing.
I am honored to be named after her and the picture is of she and I in 1977. She is dearly loved by friends and family and a true disciple for God.
I am amazed at her faith in God to heal her, get her through this and her constant testimony of His daily help in giving her strength to go to work. She is elated when she has the strength and ability to work a full 8 hours.
She has been a true servant to others for God. She quit her job many years ago to care for both of my aging and ill grandparents. When they were both gone she immediately went back into the work force and began working in a call center. Recently they did lay offs and she was about to be let go and was picked up for a temporary position with the same firm. Thank God she has health insurance through her employer. It pays a good portion of her medical expenses but as many of you know it still leaves a large balance due. She has exhausted her savings and is not able to earn as much when she is too ill to work.
She was first diagnosed with Cervical Cancer and with treatments and surgery was cancer free and she later discovered that she had liver cancer. Luckily her new job will allow her to work whatever hours she can each day. She drives to Shreveport, nearly 1.5 hours each way for chemotherapy treatments. She is driving herself and continuing to work. Because she is working as much as she can she is ineligible for any kind of disability .
Please help us get her the extra money she needs when she is not able to work so that she can pay for her health insurance, medical treatments and normal living cost while she is unable to work her normal full time schedule. She is a faithful believer in God and I am amazed her remarkable faith and ability to get up every morning and keep going. Please help her to continue to serve others as she has been faithful and loving enough to do so before becoming ill. She is happy and thankful for the days when she feels well enough to work all day.
She is greatly loved and that is why I am asking for your help for her.
Thank you very much for any support you feel lead to provide.
May God Bless You.
