Antonio’s Fight Against Bone Cancer

We can all agree that 2020 has been a tough & challenging year. Despite the odds, Antonio has fought his way through bone cancer the pasts 10 years with no chemotherapy. He has been resilient and indestructible.

Unfortunately, Antonio was diagnosed with Pneumonia and Dengue Virus, which is a mosquito-borne tropical disease that is quite common in the Philippines, which can cause severe bleeding and result in shock.

For two days, Antonio and his caregivers drove and carried him around to find a hospital that was willing to admit him and give him treatment. Due to the current pandemic, hospitals are in full capacity, and he was told to stay in a tent outside to wait for a doctor and room to be available. They chose to continue finding a hospital that was willing to take him in because staying in the tent was not in his best interests and was not a suitable environment for his current diagnosis.

Through the help of friends and family in America & the Philippines, we were finally able to get Antonio a hospital room in the Philippines. He will be under observation and undergo multiple tests. He requires a blood transfusion that will help treat his Dengue Virus.

Antonio would love a chance to keep on fighting to see his grandchildren one last time. To do this, he needs our help. As you all know, medical expenses can get costly. We are asking for any donations or your assistance to simply share his story.
