Antonio Narvaez's Recovery

On July 18th, 2021, Antonio Narvaez suffered an intracranial hemorrhage while celebrating his grandson’s second birthday with his family. Two days later, he underwent neurosurgery to drain the brain bleed. He is currently in an altered mental status and recovering from his incident in the ICU.

Antonio is a father of four – three ladies and one gentleman. He is also a grandfather to four young boys and a baby girl. He is a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

His friends and family know him as a caring, funny, positive, energetic individual. He is always the life of the party, knowing how to make others smile. He also is an incredibly hard worker, working multiple laborious jobs to help provide for his daughters, son, and grandchildren. Antonio has endured numerous hardships but continues to be strong for his family.

As a family, we have been very devastated by Antonio’s incident, but we remain hopeful for his recovery and continuously remind ourselves that he is a strong man. As long as the hospital allows it, we make sure that Antonio has frequent company of family in the hospital as he recovers. However, it has been difficult with the hospital’s COVID restrictions. We all have faith that Antonio will have a successful recovery and come home to his family soon. His recovery has not been smooth thus far, but we are grateful that he is in a stable condition.

Antonio does not have any medical insurance. We applied for emergency medical for Antonio to cover hospital expenses but we were denied.

This fundraiser is created to collect money for Antonio’s recovery and medical expenses. We suspect that he will need home nursing, modifications, accommodations, and transportation needs to increase accessibility and quality of life. Therefore, the money collected on this page will aid his family in providing financial support for Antonio and will strictly go towards his medical bills, equipment, therapy, medication, and rehab methods.
