Hi, my name is Andrea Anao and I have set up this GoFundMe for Antonio Melo Moreira.

Antonio is my niece Ashlee Nunes' father in law (father of her fiance Steve Moreira and David Moreira and husband of Maria Moreira).

Antonio and Maria came to Canada from Portugal to visit Ashley and Steve's new baby Juliana who arrived during COVID.

Unfortunately, Antonio suffered a heart attack a few days ago and is in need of an emergency bypass to fix his leaky valve and artery that is 99% blocked. His insurance will only cover $25000 but surgery will be upwards of $100000. The doctor is saying he will NOT survive the plane ride back to Portugal. With the permission of his family, we are asking for any donations to help this retired couple cover the cost of this surgery. If you are unable to donate, a simple share of this page and prayers for a speedy recovery is all that we ask.
