Dear friends, the Harvard community, and caring hearts,

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Antonio Hernandez Ledesma, a devoted father of three, a loving husband, and a cherished friend and family member. After a courageous and difficult battle with hepatic cancer that eventually spread aggressively, Antonio entered hospice care at home about a month ago. He passed away peacefully this past Tuesday.

Antonio was more than a father and husband; he was the embodiment of strength, hard work, kindness, and compassion. Even through his most painful days, he carried himself with dignity, maintained his sense of humor, and continued to fulfill his responsibilities to his family until the very end. His family, his children, and all who knew him are deeply heartbroken by this loss.

Now, his wife, Gabriela, and their three sons Anthony, Anyelo and Reyli, face not only the emotional pain of losing their father but also the financial challenges that come with medical bills and final expenses. Please consider supporting Antonio’s family during this difficult time as they grieve, heal, and honor his legacy of love and resilience.

Con profundo dolor compartimos el fallecimiento de Antonio Hernández Ledesma, un padre dedicado de tres hijos, esposo amoroso y querido amigo y familiar. Después de una valiente y difícil lucha contra el cáncer hepático que finalmente se propagó de manera agresiva, Antonio ingresó en cuidados paliativos en su hogar hace aproximadamente un mes. Partió en paz este pasado martes.

Antonio fue mucho más que un padre y esposo; fue el reflejo de la fortaleza, el trabajo duro, la bondad y la compasión. Incluso en sus días más dolorosos, se mantuvo con dignidad, conservó su sentido del humor y continuó cumpliendo con sus responsabilidades familiares hasta el final. Su familia, sus hijos y todos los que lo conocieron están profundamente afectados por esta pérdida.

Ahora, su esposa, Gabriela, y sus tres hijos, Anthony, Anyelo y Reyli, enfrentan no solo el dolor emocional de perder a su padre, sino también los retos financieros que conllevan las facturas médicas y los gastos finales.
