Hi, my name is Brittany. I am the daughter to the late Antonio Gil. My dad unexpectedly passed away 8/30/23 at the age of 63. As many people know, my dad was a huge New Orleans Saints and Tulane Green Wave fan and absolutely HATED LSU (although we love to tease about him secretly loving them when he doesn't LOL). He loved to fish, play pool, watching tv/football, and just being around family. He was goofy yet serious, stern yet lenient, and a loving and caring person to anyone and everyone. He was a wonderful father, husband, and best friend especially to my mom. He would give the shirt off his back if he could afford it. He was our pride and joy. He will be forever missed. As many people know with the cost of the funeral expenses being so expensive and having no life insurance, it's a big struggle to handle it all when living paycheck to paycheck. We thought we could do it but have come to the realization that we can't. We hate asking for help even when so desperately needed, something we got from him. We're asking friends and family to donate whatever they can. If they can't, that's okay too. The money will go directly to funeral costs.

The funeral services will be held Sept 14th at 9am at the Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, followed by the service at 11am, and then the St John Memorial Garden were he will be laid to rest.
