I'm Antonio. I currently reside in Michigan and am currently on FMLA. I began feeling tremors, tiredness, insomnia, diarrhea, and weakness on the left side of my body over 2 months ago. I scheduled a doctor's visit with my primary care, and we began testing, but things were moving slowly because of my work schedule, only having Sundays and Mondays off. By the time I took FMLA the following week, I was in a hospital for 5 days and diagnosed with Graves' disease. My case was unique because I had Hashimoto's disease along with Empty Sella Syndrome. Only 2% of people in the USA contract this disease, and it is very scary. I'm prescribed six different medications, from steroids to anxiety pills, along with needed physical therapy and weekly blood monitoring. Physically, mentally, and financially, this is draining. In order to catch up, I am asking for help and raising over $2,500 so hopefully I can return to work even.
