Hi everyone. As many of you know, one of our cycling and OBRA friends, Antonio Castaneda Jr. was hit by a car in late August while out on a training ride. He was left with a serious head injury, along with many broken bones and tissue damage on the right side of his face and body. I know many of you have stopped by the hospital to show your support, and while he may not remember each visit, he has been made aware of the support he has received and is humbled and very grateful for it. His recovery has been remarkable! His quick wit and beaming smile are back, and he will be discharged to his parents on October 8th. With that, his road to being fully recovered will be long and challenging. His parents can use all the support we can provide to help Tony in his recovery. There are household modifications that need to be made to accommodate Tony, as well as hospital and rehab visits that will continue for some time. We each have our own journey, but if you are able to assist in his recovery it is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all the support each of you have already shown.
