My name is Gilberto, I’m doing this fundraiser to help with medical costs and treatments for my wife.

Antonia and I have been together for 17 years and we have two beautiful children ages 9 and 7. My wife is caring and kind, she is selfless and committed. She is inspiring and hardworking. But above all, she is an amazing mother. She is a dedicated and loving mom and wife.

In October of this year 2021 she was diagnosed with cancer in her brain. A grade four astrocytoma. My wife Antonia underwent brain surgery and most of the tumor was removed. Thanks to the surgery she is able to enjoy a good quality of life at this moment, we are blessed to have her with us. This type of cancer is very aggressive and grows rapidly. Although there is no current cure for this particular type of cancer, the doctors are confident that given her age (42), good health and strong will to live, she will respond well to treatment. She is scheduled to begin an intense regimen of radiation and chemotherapy within the next few days. The treatment aims to stop further grow of the cancer cells and thus maintaining the best quality of life possible. Your donations will be used for treatments and will be used to better educate us as a family on how to best fight against this cancer.
