Please, please, I need your help!!!!

     Those of you who know me well, probably know it is hard for me to ask for help. I am usually the one offering to lend a hand. But I am asking because my little sister, my only sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple months ago. She is now fighting for her life! We are so scared because we lost our mom to cancer when we were both 5 months pregnant. During that devastating time we drew upon each other’s strength to get through it. I feel so helpless now. I can’t give her a hug, hold her hand to give her comfort or even wait at the hospital when she has her surgeries! As if breast cancer isn’t bad enough, she is going through a costly divorce (raising my niece and nephew all on her own), has been laid off from her job and there’s a deadly pandemic!

      Antoinette is beautiful on the inside and out, the strongest, most courageous and caring person I know.
She does have medical insurance but the co-pays for the first two surgeries (needed immediately) add up to more than $11,000, which they want up front!! Then there’s the medications (one is needed for the next 5 years), additional surgeries, food, divorce attorney fees….you know, all of life’s expenses.

   I know the timing of this could not come at a worse time as many of you are out of work too.  Every donation, no matter the amount will be so immensely appreciated. I am doing my best to put into words how desperate I am to help her. If you are not in a position to donate, maybe you could share my sister’s story? I cannot lose my sister! My best friend. The little sister I begged my parents for. The little sister I wished for on every shooting star, the little sister I wished for on every dandelion flower that I blew into the wind.
