Ciao a tutti.
Sono Sebastiano Cavallo, nato a Parma nel 1995.
Sono un musicista e ho sviluppato questa campagna per supportare economicamente la ricerca per le malattie infettive come il Covid-19 e la Croce Rossa di Parma.
Che cos’è e a cosa serve il progetto “Antivirus: Rock Strikes Corona”?
Il progetto “Antivirus: Rock Strikes Corona” nasce per combattere, con tutti gli strumenti a nostra disposizione, la pandemia generata dal Covid-19.
Siamo 32 musicisti provenienti da tutta Italia e non solo, anche qualcuno dall’estero.
Abbiamo creato un video musicale, dedicato interamente a questo problema ma non ci siamo mai visti durante il lavoro, per ovvi motivi.
“Non ci possiamo muovere a causa del virus? Beh, noi ce la faremo lo stesso!!”, ci siamo detti.
Abbiamo usato tutti gli strumenti che avevamo in casa per registrare, senza contattare alcun produttore discografico, sponsor o studio musicale ma siamo riusciti comunque a realizzare in modo professionale una bellissima cover di “Radio Nowhere” di Bruce Springsteen.
La musica non si può fermare e raggiungeremo comunque le persone che sono impaurite, preoccupate e, per un attimo, le faremo stare bene!
Non ci siamo fermati qua, no! Attraverso la piattaforma Gofundme, abbiamo creato questa raccolta fondi per aiutare gli ospedali e la ricerca.
La situazione è ancora urgente e i medici hanno bisogno di un supporto economico, oltre che morale, per sostenere i malati.
La ricerca, invece, ci servirà per trovare la soluzione per estirpare questo maledetto virus che sta provando a piegarci tutti.
Abbiamo selezionato il Centro Spallanzani di Roma per la ricerca.
Chiediamo, quindi, immediato supporto a chiunque possa darlo.
Come potete aiutarci e dove andrà a finire il ricavato?
1) Facendo una donazione direttamente da qui. L’intero ricavato di questa raccolta fondi andrà in parte al Centro Spallanzani di Roma e, in parte, alla Croce Rossa.
2) Diffondendo il nostro video. Questa raccolta fondi è strettamente connessa al video musicale che abbiamo realizzato, lo potete trovare anche qui, nella descrizione.

I’m Sebastiano Cavallo, I was born in Parma in 1995.
I’m a musician and I created this campaign to support economically the scientific research for infectious diseases like Covid-19 and Croce Rossa di Parma.
What is and what purpose does “Antivirus: Rock Strikes Corona” have as a project?
“Antivirus: Rock Strikes Corona” is a project created to fight, with all the instruments available to us, the Covid-19 pandemic.
We’re 32 musicians coming from various parts of Italy and other countries in the world.
We created a music video, completely dedicated to this problem but we never met during the creative process for obvious reasons.
“We can’t exit our homes because of the virus? Well, we will make it anyways!!”, we said.
We used all the tools we had at home to record, without the help of producers, sponsors or musical studios but we still managed to realize a beautiful cover of “Radio Nowhere” by Bruce Springsteen in a professional way.
Music can’t be stopped and we will still reach the people who are scared, preoccupied and, for a moment, we will make them feel good!
We didn’t stop here, no! Through the platform Gofundme, we created a fundraiser to help hospitals and scientific research.
The situation is still urgent and doctors still need an economic support, as well as a moral one, to help hospitalized people.
Research, on the other hand, will help us find a solution to eradicate this cursed virus that’s trying to bend us all.
We chose “Centro Spallanzani di Roma” in Rome for that.
Therefore we’re asking immediate support to anyone that can give it to us.
How can you help us and where will the proceeds go?
