The anti-spiking project is a play which follows the story of David, and the relationship with his daughter Layla as he discovers second-hand the challenges of growing up as a woman in the modern day, which comes to a head when Layla leaves for uni and is spiked whilst out clubbing.

The aim of the project is to not only raise awareness for the issue of spiking, but also to educate young men on women’s issues in a nuanced way through giving them a male figure to see themselves in. With this, we want to take the project to colleges and universities for FREE to ensure we reach a student audience, and aim to perform this in October 2026 where freshers will be starting their academic year. We also want to reach colleges as there are individuals turning 18 who will be going out to clubs for the very first time.

What will we do with your donations?
