Hello and welcome to the GoFundMe page for Antique Taco staff.
Folks have been asking me what they can do to support us restaurant industry folks during this crazy time of being shut down due to COVID-19.
Because of COVID-19, our downtown location has closed and our Wicker Park and Bridgeport locations have had to institute temporary layoffs and reduced hours. At this point we still have a skeleton staff for curbside pickups and delivery, but we are handling everything day by day.
I've been with Antique for nearly 5 years, and we are a family. I've never created a GoFundMe before, but this is the best reason to do so. If we can even give the smallest amount to help alleviate the stress of unemployment and lack of work, I'll feel like I've at least tried to do something.
All proceeds from this gofundme will go directly to Antique Taco staff. We have a staff of around 75 between our three locations.
I know we're all hurting right now--the entire world is experiencing this pandemic together. But if you are employed and have a few extra bucks to throw our way, you will help some folks who really need it during a tough time.
