Supporting Black Mental Health with Care Masters
Donation protected

Disparities and systemic barriers in child welfare, healthcare and criminal justice systems create a perpetual cycle of trauma for Black Canadians.
Anti-Black racism has deep-seated roots in Canada's history and despite some progress in policy Black people in this country continue to experience racial discrimination on a daily basis.
As a result of chronic bigotry and marginalization, Black men, women and children are increasingly susceptible to serious mental illness including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
We are dedicated to providing accessible mental health resources to members of the Black community, helping families navigate systems of oppression and advocating for changes to institutions that disenfranchise people of colour.
As an independently funded non-profit, we rely on your support to help us carry out our mission of healing for the Black community in Canada.
Your donation will go directly towards program delivery costs, to reduce or eliminate participation fees for members of the community we serve.
Your generous support enables us to provide group and private support services that are accessible, inclusive and affordable for the members of our community that need it most.
