In August, Anthony suffered a massive pulmonary embolism while traveling abroad. He collapsed at the airport upon landing in Italy and was rushed to the hospital. He underwent multiple surgeries to treat two large blood clots and internal bleeding and spent several weeks in the ICU. Thankfully the doctors were able to save him, but he has a long and arduous recovery ahead of him.

Between the extended hospital stay and the necessary physical therapy, the costs have added up. We are raising money to contribute towards Anthony’s treatment and therapy, as well as accommodations for him and mother in Italy. It may be some time before he can travel home, so we want to do everything we can to provide for him so he can focus on recovery.
