Anthony's Fight: Recovery After Carjacking
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am Samantha. I am writing on behalf of my boyfriend, Anthony DiCioccio, who on July 10th was involved in a catastrophic event that doctors described as “straight out of a movie.” As he was closing up for work, he turned on his car to cool off and put away the food he got for his mom. He was then confronted with a violent carjacking, and it suddenly became a fight for his life. The thief was driving recklessly, speeding, and weaving in between oncoming traffic. With Anthony’s quick thinking, he put the car in neutral and began fighting for his safety while the guy was trying to push him out of the moving vehicle. Anthony began to realize how terrifying this situation was becoming while the robber threatened to hurt and kill him. He was scared for his safety and now other people’s, so he chose to stop fighting. Over the duration of this, cops were en route, actively trying to pull over the robber. Anthony remembers being frightened for his life when being told by the robber, “I don’t care if we die” repeatedly. Suddenly, the thief crashed into multiple cars and fled the scene, leaving Anthony severely injured.
He’s been left with a shattered right arm, a totaled brand new car, left to be completely dependent on others, and mental distress. If any of you know Anthony, he is truly one of a kind. He will always go out of his way for others, whether he knows you personally or not. He was working at 95 Nutrition that night, one of two jobs he had while being a full-time student. He was working to pay off his new car he had just bought himself, putting everything he had into it. That was all taken away from him, along with so much more. He now has a long road ahead of him, and I am hoping to make it easier, and give him back what was wrongfully taken away from him. With the support of everyone, we hope to come together at this time and give back to Anthony. We thank you for all of your help and hope to make this time easier for him with this donation.
