Missing And Murdered Indigenous: Anthony's Funeral Fund

Hello everyone,

My name is Ashley Dowers-White, and I’m the oldest sister of Anthony Dowers-White.

I’m reaching out to ask for help raising emergency funds for funeral and burial costs for my brother, Anthony, as our family navigates this heartbreaking and unexpected loss.

Anthony passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, due to a severe brain injury that left him brain dead. He has gone home to be with God, our ancestors, and loved ones who came before him.

Anthony was missing and Indigenous American and deeply loved his Native community. Although we experienced separation from our people due to hardship and loss, we have always worked hard to reconnect with our roots and way of life. Anthony carried that passion with him every day.

He had a protective, loving spirit—always cheering others on, always full of jokes and joy. He was a true hype man, a gifted poet, and one of the funniest pranksters you’d ever meet. His energy and positivity were contagious, and he will be deeply, deeply missed.
