On August 8, 2020, at 11:00 pm Anthony was in a tragic motorcycle accident. As a result, he was air lifted to Westchester Medical Trauma Center.
The accident has resulted in a major injury causing Anthony to have from the knee down on his left leg amputated. He has had three surgeries thus far and his fourth is scheduled for this Sunday, August 16th. Doctors are uncertain if this will even be his last.
The exact road to his recovery is uncertain but will result in an overwhelming amount of medical bills. After his final surgery Anthony will need to be fitted for a prosthetic leg and will have to re-learn how to do the most basic things that we all take for granted.
Everyone that meets Anthony is immediately drawn to him by his incredible charisma, his sense of humor, and most importantly, his kind heart.
He is one of the most selfless people we know and is always the first one to pick anyone up when they are down. We would be grateful if you would help us give back to someone who spreads so much happiness and generosity to everyone he meets.
Losing a leg is a major setback but if you know Anthony you know that’s not going to slow him down. The uncertainty of how he will pay for all the medical bills is weighing heavily on him. Since he does not have medical insurance, these medical bills will have to be paid out of pocket. Please consider donating to this Go Fund Me so that Anthony can worry less about the money and more about his recovery.
