Anthony Zhang Motorcycle Accident Fundraiser

Anthony was on a ride around Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colorado on November 7th with his friend and girlfriend. It was a beautiful day and they had just finished a wonderful ride. They were on the way down the mountain to go home, with Anthony in the back so the other riders could set the pace, when another motorcycle rider lost control on the curve from the other direction. As a result, he crossed into Anthony’s lane, and collided with him head-on at a high speed. Sadly that rider passed away and Anthony sustained permanent life-changing injuries. Anthony is now paralyzed from the waist down at the young age of 23.

Thankfully, his helmet did its job of protecting his head, but his life is now forever changed physically, and he will need to learn how to do everything over again. His spirits are high, and he is facing this change with a very positive attitude. He is especially blessed to have the love and support of his family and friends, and every day will require him to face new challenges as he learns something new. He will be hospitalized and in rehab for at least 90 days, and then he will be facing independent living and starting a new life. There will be many expenses in his future that will not be covered by insurance and we are asking for any financial support you can offer.
