On August 25th, our family was hit with a heartbreaking loss. We unexpectedly lost our beloved patriarch — my father, Anthony "Tony" Legree Stevens. His passing has left an indescribable void in our lives and hearts. Tony wasn’t just a father — he was a grandfather, a brother, a friend, and a mentor to so many who were lucky enough to know him.

My father lived with faith, hope, and an unshakable belief that even in the darkest times, light would always break through. He never focused on death — instead, he chose to celebrate life. You could see it in the way he loved music, sports, food, laughter, and above all, the people around him. He had a unique gift for connecting with others, especially the younger generation, always encouraging them to push forward, stay strong, and find joy in their passions.

In recent years, he was working hard to improve his health, determined to live as long and fully as he could. But even a heart as big as his has its limits. It gave everything it had — and we are left now to honor a life so full of love, wisdom, and resilience.
