Anthony Todaro's Journey to Beat Cancer

Hello Everyone, I am Anthony Todaro's Wife Tina. We had hoped to not burden anyone with our current life changing situation. Unfortunately, Tony was diagnosed with 2 separate cancers in December 2024. We have now spent all our funds and now have run up credit trying to stay ahead of this situation and trying our best to get him the best care from Jurvinski Cancer Hospital in Hamilton,Ontario. He continues to is get the best care possible. But

traveling over an hour away for many appointments & treatments has now put us behind on everything. He is only working a couple days a week after treatment and recovery time. This is not sustainable now.

We are not people to ask for help & did not want to but at this point we have no options.

This has been life changing to say the least and we are very stressed & worried about the financial situation we now find ourself in. We are trying to apply for some disability stuff but most take time and you may not even qualify and then you dont get much if you do. So far he has not qualified for anything.

We are trying to not loose the things we both have worked so hard for over the years. Mainly our home. We have our 2 grandkids living here and trying to not upset their lives also. They think Papa just has a virus they are treating at this point.

Everyone who knows us, knows how hard this is for me to ask for help, but I have no choice. I need to make sure Tony gets all the help he needs to not have the financial worries of how to pay bills, medicine, travel, parking etc. as he goes through his treatments.

He has had 7 Chemo treatments so far. His last CT scan shows that they seem to be working as both cancers have shrunk. We are not sure how many more he will need or what the next steps are going forward. One day at a time. We understand that times are really tough right now for everyone, but anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated and we will be very thankful for any help at all. Cancer really sucks and really turns your whole life upside down. I do not wish this on anyone.
