Anthony Stephens Family

We are raising monies for the widow of Anthony Stephens.   On Saturday October 13, 2018,  Anthony Stephens died due to complications from an illness contracted while serving this great nation in combat. His condition deteriorated in the last four years, however he was hopeful and prayerful that he would get better soon.  His death was sudden and unexpected.    Anthony did not die on the battlefield, but he gave his life on it. The family is devastated and in dire need.  They have very little to support themselves at this time, no savings and no life insurance.  the VA will only reimburse a small porption of the funeral costs. Shanura, his wife, is in shock and is trying to wrap her head around this tremendous tragedy.  Anthony was only 43 years old. 

Anthony and Shanura met while she was 17 years old in Colorado.  They dated and married quickly.  Anthony joined the Army soon thereafter and so the journey began.  The couple produced three wonderful kids.  Anthony Jr.,  Paige.  and  Darian. 

Anthony was a humorous man, he loved deeply and was faithful to God and his family.  He served his country honorably and has left us too soon.
