Russell Anthony Hunter Needs Our Help: Cancer Recovery Fund
Hello everyone,
My name is Rosie, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My beloved son, Russell "Anthony" Hunter, has been diagnosed with cancer and is about to undergo a Sigmoidoscopy and either additional chemo treatments and/or tumor removal surgery/reconstructive surgery. As a result, he will be unable to work much if at all for the next two-six months while he focuses on his recovery.
Just an update: On June 13, Russell Anthony has finally quLified for surgery. They will remove the tumor, lymph nodes, and reconstruct his digestive tract and colon. It will be a 7 hour surgery with up to a 6 month recovery. This includes and additional surgery to complete reconstruction. Anthony needs to heal from the tumor removal.
Anthony is a hardworking and dedicated individual who has always been there for his family and friends. Now, he needs our support more than ever. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover Medical treatments additional chemo treatments and/or tumor removal surgery/reconstructive surgery, plus essential expenses during his recovery period, including:
Rent: $1300/mo Ensuring that Anthony has a safe and stable place to live while he heals.
Utilities: Keeping the lights on and the home comfortable for his recovery.
Insurance: $450 mo/ medical insurance and co-pays.
Food: Providing nutritious meals to help him heal and regain his strength.
Gas money: Covering transportation costs for medical appointments and treatments.
Surgery in colon dissection to repair rupture caused by cancer in Dec 2023, Radiation then Chemo in 2024-2025: $10,000
Upcoming treatments: $TBD depending on results of Sigmoidoscopy.
