Anthony went into cardiac arrest on Saturday evening, it took 40 minutes of CPR to bring Anthony back. He was on life support for 48 hours as they wanted to cool his body down to try to avoid any brain damage. They started warming his body on Tuesday to try and bring him off the breathing tube. As they were trying he was very agitated and had to sedate him and keep the tube in. On Thursday they were able to take him off the breathing tube and off sedation. The doctors can not see any major brain damage on the CT scan or MRI's but do not know the extent of any brain damage as Anthony is still coming off all the medicine. As far as his heart goes he will need surgery to insert a defibrillator as his heart is very weak. His kidneys have gone into kidney failure and he has now been receiving dialysis. Anthony being with us today is a complete miracle and we are so thankful to have him with us. But he has a long road ahead of him. Carolina has been by his side all day, every day and will remain being by his side to help him along this very difficult journey. As this was so unexpected and many things will need to take place we ask for your prayers and any financial support you can offer to alleviate the stress of finances during this time. We thank you in advance for your love, prayers and any support you may give.
