This is something my family and I did not anticipate doing anytime soon so unfortunately we were not prepared, especially not now days before Christmas. Tragically, my younger brother Anthony Malone’s life was taken on December 20, 2021 just days after his 26 birthday. We know times are tough with the pandemic still going on, and it being the holidays so we are humbly asking for the help of our family, friends and the community with giving my brother a proper funeral. We want to try our best to honor our Mother’s wishes for his services which would be to have a traditional funeral with him being buried with our Dad. We are not exactly sure when the funds would be needed by as his body was sent to Albuquerque for autopsy because of the manner of his death. The bare minimum cost for his services and burial would be $5,600 with no additional add ons such as flowers etc. The cost for the plot at St. Genevieve’s where our Dad and Malone family are buried is about $1,000.
