Anthony Luis Zayas

My name is Luis Zayas and on behalf of myself and my family it is with great sadness I announce the loss of our beloved Anthony Zayas a.k.a Tony. He was everything to everyone, a brother, a son, an uncle, a friend, a father. He was someone who would help at a drop of a hat, truly a heart of gold. He was full of life and energy. His sudden passing will leave a hole in many hearts.

Anthony is predeceased by his father Luis Antonio Zayas whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his mother Maria Zayas, his older brother Luis and wife Marilyn and his sister Ivelisa and her husband Eric, and Anthony’s nephews, Alvin, Kyle, Dario and Manny and his son Jandell.

Although growing up in Boston, he opened up a small barber shop in Arlington which in turn not only grew but grew in his heart. Anthony left a big impact in the Arlington community and the community impacted him as well. Anthony truly enjoyed living and working with the people that surrounded him everyday.

Services will be held at Brady and Fallon funeral home in Jamaica Plain and a Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Jamaica Plain. Time and dates will be announced soon.
