Update below

My name is Tammie Roberts. This is my brother-in-law, Anthony Jackson.

I'm going to post what his wife, Melissa, posted this morning. They’re going to need all the support they can get

My husband had a terrible fall from about 10-12 feet yesterday on the farm. He landed on his feet first. He broke both ankles, shattered bones in both ankles also but the right one is worse. He broke both 'shinbones' right above ankles, one clean break, the right one not so much. He also broke both his fibulas.

We spent all day in the ER yesterday until about 3am and he came to a room. It is 7:56am and he is in the first of several surgeries he will have to have. He will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks.

Me and him have been through a lot together. We will get through this together...and with our family.

Mainly keep him in your prayers, please.

He is our Rock and is the glue to our family.

Anthony is out of surgery. They put stabilizers in for now until the swelling goes down and then in a few days, they'll do a second surgery. He just got back to his room and is still out of it. The doctor said this would be a long recovery ahead. It will be 2 to 3 months before he can even start bearing weight.

Please continue to pray for him, please.

And pray for these nurses and doctors that have to put up with him... lol...jk

Hopefully surgeries are over for Anthony . Dr said Tuesday if all goes good then he shouldn't need any more surgeries. But now the journey begins of physical therapy to get him walking again. Still no weight bearing on legs for about 3/4 months.

Right ankle has 2 plates and 16 screws, left has 3 plates and 23 screws. Dr said it looked like a bomb went off in his left ankle.

But PT came in today and he did go from bed to wheelchair and back to the bed and he did it great..considering he's been laid on back with feet up for 2 weeks.

Keep him in your prayers still..the rough part is about to begin.
