I very rarely put my personal business on social media but my heart is broken for my son Anthony. He was in a dirt bike accident which has turned out to be a nightmare for him. Prior to this he was working full time for the S.L Ambulance and Fire hall. He has not been able to work since the accident. He is close to exhausting all his leave, which he had a lot as he never misses work. During this ordeal he has had multiple surgeries and then a few days ago just after starting feel better he had to go thru another surgery. As in the past attempts they were not able to cast him due to the amount of trauma he endured from the accident. Instead they had to cut him open from his wrists to his elbow on both arms I would post pictures but they are graphic. As anyone would be I am so grateful he is ok however he still has a long road to recover. As he is still not in casts he has pins in both his wrists and he has had to have skin graphs which puts him in severe pain he is also hooked up to wound vacs. He has been confined to his house for most of the the past 2 months or so. And now he is faced with the worry of getting behind on his bills. He has worked so hard to get where he is today. And its so disheartening that in a blink of an eye it can all change. Anthony is a great kid any mama would be proud to have he works hard for his community . Ive tried to think how I can help to relieve some of his financial burdens but I can't even fundraise for him as we are currently in this pandemic so if anyone has any ideas I would love for you to share also if anyone has any extra leave to donate it would be so appreciated. And if you have neither kind works of encouragment is also needed as he feels like this nightmare is never gonna end. The sad thing about it this was his release for a bad day he was only doing what he loved. I just wish I could take some of his pain and burdens away!!
