In Support of Anthony’s Recovery & Rehabilitation

This site is dedicated to supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of Anthony Griggs.
Anthony was diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), a vascular condition that runs in his family.
Recently, his condition reached an advanced stage and Anthony’s doctor was not able to successfully restore blood flow to his foot or leg, which made it necessary to remove his leg above the knee.
Additionally, Anthony’s other leg is also impacted with the same condition and will require bypass surgery, as quickly as it is practical.
Given his current limitations, it is uncertain when Anthony will regain full mobility and be able to return to work, in some capacity.
Both Anthony and Helen have shown tremendous strength and resolve meeting this challenge, focusing on restoring Anthony’s quality of life, rather than on the circumstances. He is doing everything that he is capable of doing to regain his mobility.
Many have asked, what's needed to assist them. For those who would like to contribute financially, this page has been established to help cover gaps in medical and disability coverage, along with extensive on-going rehabilitation, and an artificial limb.
