Help Anthony’s Craniocervical Instability Remedy

Hi, my name is Brad Gordon and I suffer from a disabling condition known as craniocervical instability (CCI). This fundraiser is for my friend Anthony Flotte who has the same debilitating condition. My heart breaks for him as he does not have the funds to get the necessary medical care he needs. Please read further to understand his story and why we so desperately need your help. This condition causes the top vertebrae in the neck, called the atlas, to not stay in alignment- and over time that causes damage to the ligaments and nerves nearby as well as compressing blood vessels like the jugular vein. This causes debilitating pain, headaches, brain fog, neurological issues and more. In addition to this condition, CCI, my friend Anthony, also has several cysts in his brain and spinal cord. This complex situation causes a build up of cerebrospinal fluid in his brain and disrupts the flow in and out of his brain. His combination of issues is affecting his vision, balance, cognition, coordination, speech. It also causes pain, numbness, weakness, vertigo, dizziness and many other life changing debilitating issues. Anthony has spent the last year mostly bedbound. He has been in and out of hospitals and was in a nursing home for over 3 months, where he was in a wheelchair most of that time.

The good news is that there is treatment that can greatly improve the quality of life of those suffering, but because it is such a rare complex condition, the only top expert that can treat Anthony has a necessary expensive and involved 3 hour mri/treatment protocol. This super specialized MRI identifies the precise locations of the damaged ligaments and disc position. It also shows how the cerebrospinal spinal fluid flows in and out of the brain, allowing blockages to be identified, which will give crucial information about what further treatment/surgery may be needed. The initial treatment is called atlas orthogonal that uses a machine with precise vectors to correct the misalignment of his atlas bone and allow for healing to occur, proper fluid flow to his brain and easing compression in his jugular veins. This man, Dr. Scott Rosa located in Rock Hill, NY is a miracle worker and I (Brad) am about 50 percent improved so far from his protocol and treatment. He has helped many with this disabling condition get their life back, (including ex pro quarterback Jim McMahon-article below) but unfortunately it is not covered by medical insurance.

Anthony has been suffering because unfortunately he can’t afford this treatment. His overwhelmed health issues have not only devastated him physically, mentally, and spiritually, they have devastated him financially. I have had the privilege of becoming friends with Anthony, finding each other on a support group for this condition and he is one of the kindest, caring humans I’ve met. He used to be full of life, travel, exercise, and make people laugh. He has never asked anyone for help. He has been rescuing and sponsoring animals for many years and has provided much financial support to poor needy children in Latin America, out of his own pocket over the last 15 years. Now he can’t even get out of bed. The longer he remains in this condition, the more damage is being done to his brain, vision, and nervous system. I know first hand what this misery is like, but I was fortunate to have the funds and support in my life.
