Anthony DeFalco's Memorial Scholarship Fund

Honoring the life of the beloved, Anthony DeFalco, who lost his lifelong battle with addiction on October 31, 2020. 


Anthony DeFalco was a son, a brother, an uncle, a significant other, and a friend to many. All of the people in his life described Anthony as quite possibly the most caring, genuine, and loving person on this planet. Words could not do him any justice or encompass his impact. To know him was to love him. He had a smile that was contagious, an energy that was enthralling, and a presence so irreplaceable. 

For the last two years, Anthony had maintained sobriety and was thriving in life. His loved ones had gotten the true Anthony back for these two years. More importantly, he got everything back. He had his family. He had his friends. He lived his best life. He was able to have all of this due to the hard work and dedication he put into his sobriety and into himself. His loved ones were is very proud of his achievements.

Anthony battled a lot of demons and had a lot of struggles in his life, before and after these two years of sobriety. During the end of August leading into early September, Anthony had relapsed. Despite this, he wasn't done fighting his battle. He wanted to keep on living the life he had created for himself during the past two years and fought back with everything in him. At this time, Anthony's sister, Jen DeFalco, was a newly hired Behavioral Health Technician at Allure Detox, and she reached out to her colleagues for advice on how she could help from being 200 miles away. Allure Detox graciously offered Anthony a Full Detox Scholarship. The offer was accepted and Anthony was welcomed with open arms at Allure. All the staff went beyond and above to provide the treatment, support, and care he needed during his two-week stay. Anthony carried an energy that made such an imprint during his stay, from the staff to his fellow peers, he was considered family to everyone he crossed paths with at Allure. Even after his stay, he kept in touch and would reach out for support when he knew he was struggling but didn't want to quit fighting. 

A little over a month after he had been discharged and gone back home, the Allure Detox family was informed that he had lost his fight with addiction. The loss of Anthony hit the entire Allure family very, very hard emotionally. Upon the Allure family reaching out to the DeFalco family, giving our deepest condolences and prayers, we realized we wanted to do something more significant and meaningful. Allure Detox wants to fund a Full Detox Scholarship, dedicated solely in the name of Anthony DeFalco. This scholarship serves to call to his remembrance, that he shall never be forgotten.
This funded Full Detox Scholarship will be given to the next individual who is battling the disease of addiction, sick and suffering, and seeking help to recover with no financial support or insurance to cover. 

The family of Anthony DeFalco stated, "In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to go towards the treatment facility that most recently treated Anthony when he began to slip;  Allure Detox".
