As many of you know, but for those who don’t, our brother Anthony suffered a massive heart attack on July 30, 2020. He walked into the ER because our sister in law Tami wouldn’t take no for an answer. She saved his life. He had less than 10% of his heart functioning. Since that night it has been a long journey. His heart function has not recovered and he needs a heart transplant. He will need to undergo one or possibly multiple open heart surgeries if they are unable to find a matching heart donor soon.
Anthony has three wonderful daughters, Madeline (17) a freshman at CSI majoring in teaching, Scarlet (13) entering 8th grade and Amelia (11) starting middle school 6th grade. As anyone could imagine a father of a family of five plus their dog Oscar, his biggest concern is providing for his family. He started a new job earlier this year, but his life has changed drastically. Not only will he have to endure these surgeries and the recovery, he must be on costly immunosuppressants for the rest of his life to keep his body from rejecting a new heart.
We are hoping to alleviate some of the financial burdens that he and his family face. Our goal is to raise money to assist with medical costs, mortgage payments and bills.
We ask that you donate as much as you can to help our brother on this very long road to recovery. We thank you in advance for anything you contribute and pray that this next year allows him to receive a new heart and give him a second chance to live a full life with his wife and family.
