Anthony and Frank's Emergency Move

We are making this page to ask for help with our current living situation. When we moved into our current house the owners were in the process of changing. The new/current owner of the property has been against giving any of us a concrete lease/rental agreement that is anything more than verbal. The house itself is falling apart and he is not fixing the leaking roof, pests, termites, or rotting walls. We also have heard that he wants to empty the house to sell it as some point in the future. When the COVID-19 pandemic started we were attempting to save up enough so that if the landlord decided to kick us out we would be able to afford a new place to live and not become homeless. But when the pandemic hit Anthony was laid off from work and we lost half our income. As of now we make just enough to cover our bills if we sacrifice some things. Luckily Anthony has been called back to work, but Frank's hours are cut due to COVID and even with Anthony's paycheck there will be not enough left to save quickly enough. We are all very worried that the landlord will change his mind about us living here and we will be helpless to stop it. We are trying to raise enough for the 1st, Last, and Security that most places require to move in. Normally we would not be asking like this, but times are rough and we don't really have another option if we want to have the security to not lose our place to live. We do understand that with the pandemic it is illegal to kick us out immediately, but there is no telling when the government will end that. There are too many uncertainties to be confident in our current situation.
