Hi, my name is Alysha I have decided to start this fundraiser for my sister Anthea and her family to help relieve some pressure from the financial burden they are currently facing and will continue to do so.

My happy, bubbly, loving 35yo sister has been recently diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 bowel cancer after a year of fighting to get taken seriously and have tests done. Anthea is a mother of 3 young children with disabilities and has been unable to work for the past year due to being bedridden, so income has been solely from Daniel's( dad and fiance) casual employment. With Anthea's recent diagnosis, emergency surgery,follow up appointments and chemo, she has also just found out her cancer has spred to other organs - things are looking pretty bleak for this young family with Daniel unable to take time off to be there for Anthea and her appointments or even their children and theirs.
