Help Us Get Answers for Our Dog

We recently took our sweet boy to the vet because we noticed something wasn’t right. After examining him, the vet told us he might have neurological problems. To know exactly what’s going on and to give him the care he needs, he has to get an MRI and several other important tests.

These tests are expensive, and we can’t do this alone. Our dog means the world to us he’s family our family and we just want to make sure he gets the right diagnosis and treatment.

Zahir’s Update On Thursday, we went to the neurologist. Our sweet boy had to go under anesthesia for his MRI, and the results were heartbreaking. Zahir likely has discospondylitis. An infection in his spine that is also pressing on his spinal cord. Hearing this news broke us, because Zahir is just a baby, so full of love and joy, and he doesn’t deserve this pain. The vets ran bloodwork, X-rays, and other tests to learn what type of infection he has and how to treat it. He has started antibiotics and pain medication to bring him some relief, but he will need another exam and X-rays in 6 weeks. This journey has been overwhelming. The MRI, anesthesia, and initial testing were about $5,500, and there are still more expenses ahead as we fight for his health. We are praying for our boy every step of the way, and we ask for your prayers too. Any support whether it’s sharing his story, donating, or simply lifting him up in prayer means the world to us.
