I'm Sarah, and my horse Freestyle is the light of my life. (A spot she shares with her 'sister', my cat Natasha.) She's the first horse I've ever trained, and she played a big part in making me the equestrian I am today. We've had many wonderful adventures and been through through a number of awful things together. It's no exaggeration to say that Freestyle has saved my life on more than one occasion. Which is part of why it hurts so much to not be able to help her now.

Freestyle has been dealing with a mystery hind end pain/lameness issue since November of 2024. At first I assumed it was just from the cold and mud in the pasture, but when time off didn't help, I started trying joint supplements, poultices, stretches, massage... Then we moved to a new barn and while she was adjusting to that, she came down with an illness. Once she'd recovered, I started her on Equioxx, sure that would finally fix it. But it hasn't helped at all. And now we start into the more expensive diagnostics, which is why I'm humbly, nervously asking for help.

Freestyle needs x-rays and to be tested for lyme disease for a start, and depending on the results of those initial tests, there may be even more scans and tests and bloodwork. My budget is already tight as I try to pay off earlier debts and get my car back up and running. But I desperately need answers for her, and for her to not be in pain. She's only 20, which is young for an Arabian, and I love her and owe her so much. Any help at all is deeply, deeply appreciated.
