My name is Berenice Lazaro. My dads name is Anselmo Rivera and he was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive cancer in the brain. My dad has always been a loving and hard working man. From the moment he came to the states he worked hard to make a name for himself, and provide for everyone he loved. His treatment includes radiation and chemotherapy, from Monday through Friday. Physical therapy and speech therapy. While the time we get to spend with him is priceless, the cost of not working in order to take him to appointments and watch him 24/7 comes at a price. Any amount of help is time my family gets to have along side my dad.
