Hi my name is James, my wife and I are asking for your help. Our son,Casimir was born in July, 2019 at 28 weeks old. He stayed in the NICU unit of the hospital in an incubator for two months. He was such a happy, loving boy. About two months after his second birthday, we put Casimir to bed he fell into cardiac arrest by the time we got him to the hospital he had lost a lot of oxygen to the brain. He was diagnosed with an anoxia brain injury.
Anoxic brain injury is a type of brain injury that isn't usually caused by a blow to the head. Instead, anoxic brain injury occurs when the brain is deprived of oxygen. Left without oxygen for too long, neural cells begin to die through a process called apoptosis.
He was a very active young boy that is now left motionless, we have found a treatment that can help him hopefully get his life back. We researched many different options. We found that hyperbaric oxygen therapy has had many success stories for children with this severe condition. The treatment is very expensive and insurance does not cover in any way.
We just want our boy to have the life any child should have. Would you please consider donating to our son Casimir’s treatment and helping him get his life back.
We appreciate your time reading about his story and any donation you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
James & Family.
